After decades of enjoying representational painting, I discovered expressive abstract painting, and it was a match made in heaven. I’ve been a professional artist, instructor, and mentor for emerging artists for years now, and it gives me immense joy to see my students discover that abstract painting is both achievable and fulfilling. I’m into knowledge sharing and community building, not withholding painting “secrets” and competition, like the tools I share on my site.

I’m a lover of nature, animals, and color. I give a portion of my profits from painting sales to charities that reflect my values, and this makes my art all the more meaningful to me.
